The Oscillatorium

[There is no particular reason
I have called my post this.
The Oscillatorium just seems
like it would be an interesting
place to hang out at..
periodically..]

Blog-post # 434:
(434 = 2*31*7.
Also,..
'434' is a palindromic
number. And so, in-honor,
there are a number of
palindrome-related items
below. But... I would have
posted them today anyway.)

Inanimations:
Today only 4, no more.

--------------------------------
--------------------------------
Palindrome:

'Signal: Clang is.'

--------------------------------

A palindrome with an odd
number of letters is...

never even..

[^I post this already?]
--------------------------------

Speaking of palindromes
involving the number nine,..

That tragic day, I only recently
realized, is a palindrome AND is
the same written upside-down
as upside-up when it is written
in Roman-numerals.

'IX-XI'.

And almost a palindrome is:

'Nine-(v)Ele[v]en in.'

(^America's Palin-Drones
surely approve of all
this palindromism and
proximate palindromism.)
--------------------------------

Speaking of the Palin-Drones:

Some Americans fear that if
any of their ilk get too
much political power here,
they would rule quite..

'Purityrannically'.

(But maybe they would be
more so Puri-whites than
Puri-tans, mebetchas..)

[Aside: ^"Mebetchas",
actually, is a gosh darn
appropriate neologism
to be used here.]
--------------------------------
--------------------------------

Bosses desire to enforce
the workplace's..

'hire-(and fire)-archy'..

--------------------------------

The under-class
must stay under-glass.
*

(Our betters like to view us
to see all we're feeling,
..
as they keep us each beneath
that imposing glass-ceiling..)

[Hey, it's museum-quality
economic injustice!]

*(In other words:
The peasants are as pheasants
.. under-glass.)
--------------------------------

The trends tend to end.

But when do those 'trends'
tend so to 'end'?
At the end of each 'trend'!

(Upon the last 3 letters,
in fact.)

--------------------------------
--------------------------------

Why were those
trivia publications
so tasty to eat?

Because they were such good..

'quiz-zines'!..

--------------------------------

Why is it so that
time is.. clock-wise?

Because it will not be
fooled by any clocks.
No, never so fooled..
for.. a wile..

--------------------------------

Loxodromes are a type of..

'sphere-ral'..

--------------------------------
--------------------------------

The term "spin-cycle" of a
washing-machine seems like
a redundancy (which would
have actually been quite
appropriate here, I guess).

Hmmm..
But maybe it literally means
that it cyclically spins once,
yet then again,.. then again,
.. then again,.. then again..
-- with only one turn each
spin, but done repeatedly??..

--------------------------------
--------------------------------

It angers me whenever anyone
of the older generation
dismisses all the credibility
of any member of the younger
generation only because that
younger person does not know
how to read and/or write
in cursive.
(And especially so, since
schools these days don't
have the time to waste to
teach something absolutely
useless like cursive when so
much class-time must be used
instead having the kids take
all those tests,.. the very
tests often demanded by the
older generation itself.)

AND,.. in a few ways, cursive
is quite like that newfangled
texting-abbreviation lingo
used by the kids these days.

Both are annoying and hard
for some people to read,
of course for one thing.
And both are quite
ugly-looking, I must say.

But, both too had been
created in the first-place
as a form of short-hand
meant to shorten the time
to write whatever.

----

So, I had a great idea
for a piece of "art":

Have some examples of
texting-abbreviation lingo
("LOL", "YOLO", etc etc),
but all written.. in..
cursive!..

Ohhh,.. the irony!..
(Ohhh,.. the anachronism!..)

[And it would be especially
ironic if the scrawl is
written as badly as is a
doctor's hand-written
prescription, even.]
--------------------------------
--------------------------------
Another meme for you:

To all those out there in
the REAL reality beyond:

Hey, this simulation of
reality I live here within
is meant as a WARNING,
NOT as a handbook!

--------------------------------
--------------------------------

It is ironic that
"moratoriums" on things
definitely do not call for
.. MORE of those things!

--------------------------------

What is even worse than being
hit with golfball-sized hail?

Being hit with..
goofball-sized hail.

Because those hail-stones
are each the size of some
CrAzY GuY!...

--------------------------------
[Warning, warning:
Political implications.]

'Tarnation' used to be a
euphemism for 'Damnation'.
But the situation has
since reversed, and now...
'Damnation' has become the
euphemism for 'Canada'..

--------------------------------
--------------------------------
The most offensive
items for last:
[Warning; warning;
Rest of this post may offend.
Warning; warning; childish humor
regarding adultish matter-isms.]

Hey,..
didn't scientists have
a probe study Uranus?!...

[I promised myself I would
never post a "Uranus" joke
in this blog.
But, anyway, I still..
delved into it..
Oh,.. into the depths..
both of humor and of
unoriginality, sadly.]
(And did I already post
this one Uranus joke?)
--------------------------------

Masturbation is, I guess,
a form of 'intracourse',

.. as some people
very well know..
first-hand..

But a guy copulating instead
with a woman for-real is he
having sex... in-person..

--------------------------------
--------------------------------
Finally:
Very much so much more serious:

[Warning, warning:
Potential offensiveness.
Warning, warning:
Adult themes; politics;
and, even worse,.. a pun..]

Whenever I hear of children
and others who were forced to
be prostitutes finally being
"rescued", I think that, yes,
that is indeed all well and
good that they were rescued.

But I then wonder if these
specific "rescue"-operations
were like so many others in
our nation's history,
and these prostitutes were
in these particular raids
actually ARRESTED
(you know, for, at least
in-part, the crime of
being raped/enslaved).

"Yes, that'll save 'em!"..

And the mentally-ill in our
society are also sometimes
"rescued" in this enlightened
way, ending up in jail when
they should be in a caring
medical facility instead.

(But there is FAR more money
available for jailing people
than for helping them. So,..)

So, the many victims of pimps
or of the victims' own
mental-illnesses are often
even further victimized by
the authorities just because,
in-essence, these victims are
victims.

On a lighter note, though:..
Since sometimes being rescued
is in-fact being arrested,..
these particular re-victimized
victims have therefore been..

[impending portmanteau..]

'arrescued',.. then.

Occipital-Lobes So Oscilliptical

["Oscilliptical"^ is quite the
interesting portmanteau-esque
neologism, indeed.]

Blog-post # 433:

Ten new art-inanimations:
(The original pen-drawings
are not that great.
But they are always infinitely
better than are the "scans",
no matter how I scan them.
I may have to soon stop
posting images, or even soon
stop posting to my blog at all,
given how disappointed I am
regarding all this.
It is not worth the effort.
Again, go back and look at
my computer art, posted at any
time before Oct 2013, for a

those bad people that information.

Hmm.. Maybe there are companies

Becoming Middle-Aged:

As we get so much older,
we become more jaded and
disillusioned, and we become
more and more cynical, irate,

people's intentions, and so
often become more unfriendly

each certainly do know)
... as we realize just how
much so almost every (other!)

been quite the real asshole.

In other words,..
We become adolescents..

Feedback-loop:

Send feedback to company's

company some much deserved
criticism.
2)
They then tell YOU to ALSO

You then write another

4) They repeat step # 2, but
increase their insult-level

[^This MUST have occurred in

(Anyway, this is an example
of a positive feedback-loop
involving negative feedback.
{As happens sometimes.})

funny than they are simply
portmanteau-esque:]

Any balance occurring
between/amongst/within
the shapes of sines,
cosines, or tangents:

'Symmetrigonometry'.

-------------------

Its eternal echoes
form the sound's..

'foreverberation'...

-------------------
[A much less funny
portmanteau:]

Consider the common type
of pairings this universe
gives us to choose from:
God v Devil.
Women v men.
Democrats v Republicans
(in US).
Mundane reality v Hell.

Many types of such pairings
seem to be a choice between
the absolutely awful,.. and
the FAR worse even still.

So then, what are these
pairings examples of?..

'Diabolichotomies'!

-------------------------------
-------------------------------

Given the names for US coins
"cents" and "quarters",
it might have been more
consistent if nickels instead
had been called "1/20ths" and
dimes instead had been called
"decis", maybe.
(Although dollars at least
are indeed often referred to
as "ones".)

And maybe "cent" should
always be used* instead of
"penny", because the latter
word seems to imply it has
something to do with 5 or
1/5th. ["Penta-"..]
(A fifth of a nickel,
it indeed is, though!)

*(Until, soon, after
pennies/cents are not
in-use anymore.)

Or maybe we can go in the
opposite direction with
this, and rename nickels..
"pentapennies"..

[Update: The word "dime" does
indeed derive from a term for
1/10, I read.]
-------------------------------
-------------------------------

Band-name:
'A Very-Edible Desiccant'.

-------------------------------

Being 'used' is bad, indeed.
But it is still better than
being abused, misused, or
disused, or than being..
completely unused.. because
you have been.. refused..
for being.. useless.

-------------------------------

Idea for something to be said
in one of those stupid comedy
movies which are made mostly
for young adults:

Two guys talking.
Then one says to the other:
"I think your mom's hot, man..
Uh,.. I've never seen her
before, though. But I KNOW she
must be hot..
[Pause]
By the way, I am totally
straight and stuff. Hey, I'd
sure like to get YOUR mom,
for one thing."..

(ie. An awkward situation..)

-------------------------------
-------------------------------

Speaking of stupidity:

Updates regarding last post's
item on what stupid people
say:

First:
"You say your shirt is full
of holes? Why don't you then
just wear it inside-out,
you moron!?"

To clarify (so I myself
don't look more dumb),
your shirt in this case
consists of only one layer
of cloth throughout it.

-

Second:
"Hey, you can't take a ride
in a time-machine, idiot,
'cause those haven't even
been invented yet!"

To clarify, the quote should
have said that you can't take
a ride arbitrarily far back
into the past on that
time-machine.
It is possible there will
be invented someday
time-machines which travel
quickly through time, but
can only do so forward into
the future.
And it is possible there
will someday be the invention
of time-machines which can
travel into the past, but
only will be able to do so
by a relatively short amount
of time at the most.
(It may be possible in that
case to make many jumps to
get arbitrarily far back
into the past.
But maybe not, depending.)
Or maybe there will be
time-machines invented that
can go anywhere at all in
time, but only can do this
at most once.
(So such a time-machine
could come back to your
position in the present,
but it then could not take
you anywhere. But maybe you
could then build another
like it in that case, seeing
how it works, and then ride
in that new one?)

-------------------------------
-------------------------------
Finally:...
(.. As final as is the greatest
of strictly finite integers.)

An excerpt from that
which you do not see:
(As this was our only purpose:
.. To solely be so wrong.**)

Geometry was likewise formed
from those moons behind suns

plural nothingnesses;

so plussed and summed
(if never added).}]

**[{(They always say, "Such

more concerned about any
truths... such as those
where it would have been
quite shocking.. if they
otherwise could even be..
alleged..]})
