The so-called "slippery-slope"
to all-out authoritarianism

is far more serious than a
literal slide down a

Such a slide would have

But in-fact, society's
free-fall towards total
dystopia is much more so
along an exponential arc or
even along a hyperbolic arc.
(Speaking of hyperbole..)
This arc, if hyperbolic,
might move along its
asymptote and even get us
to a point of INFINITE
dystopian hell.
Then, I would imagine, the
evil in our world would be
so infinite, and this evil
will have a mass so great,
that the entire Earth will
collapse due to the evil's
massive gravity into a
single point, as if it
was formed as any typical
black-hole.
(That there would be quite
.. "The Singularity",
wouldn't it? Not the one we
were hoping for, exactly..)

Speaking of black-holes and
the claim that there is a
disturbing problem with the
popular theories because of
the possibility that, under
these theories, information
may be totally destroyed
when it falls into a
black-hole, which would
violate science somehow:..
(This rant is inspired by
Stephen Hawking's newest
claims about how the
information which falls
into the holes maybe is
not destroyed after all.)
If the precious Laws Of
Thermodynamics must be
preserved unconditionally
(as they themselves too
are information, I guess;
but I digress),...
There is yet another way,
disturbing as it is, to
possibly resolve the
"paradox" of information
maybe otherwise being
destroyed after it has
fallen into a black-hole:
Perhaps,..
Maybe that information was
never there to begin with.
Nothing of value is lost,
in other words.

On the topic of black-holes:
Assuming Hawking et al are
correct about the event-horizon,
whether a "classical" one or an
"apparent" one {under Hawking's
newest proposals}, being, as is
suggested is possible, complex
in its shape at small scales,
this situation reminds me of
the edge of the Mandelbrot set
{pure math}. The Mandelbrot Set
{quite a famous fractal}, even
though it is not shaped {either
on a large scale or at small
scales} exactly like a
black-hole's event-horizon,
does involve infinite
complexity along its boundary,
a boundary where {as may also
be the case with a black-hole}
either: points* cannot escape
and converge inwardly when
they originated on one side of
that boundary {within it};
or points located just outside
that boundary {even sometimes
very close, JUST outside that
boundary} escape, fleeing far
away without being captured.
*{"Points" being, as I am
using it here, either: in the
case of the Mandelbrot Set,
a pair of mathematical
coordinates; but in the case
of a black-hole, however,
I am referring to subatomic
particles created by
pair-production.}]

my resolution above of the
information-destroying-
black-hole paradox:
A few nights ago night, I
KNEW that the word "fakery"
could be anagrammed into
something which would indicate
what was REALLY going on.
While lying there anagramming
this word in my head, first
into "far key" {which sounds
too nonsensical to be
significant}, I realized
it anagrams into...
"freaky". Freaky, indeed!
